At Humanitas University (an international medical school in Milan, built alongside the renowned Humanitas Research Hospital), a clinical study is underway using the SIRIO (LIPUS) BAC Technology ultrasound device in the field of chronic inflammatory diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. The study involves the development of a new non-invasive approach to monitor patients’ disease status without the need for endoscopic examinations.
